It was a crisp and cold day in March for Siyau and Roger’s incredible Calgary Lake House Wedding. We arrived in the morning to a busy home where Siyau and her bridesmaids were eagerly getting ready for the festivities. When Roger arrived to see his beautiful bride for the first time, he was met with skill testing questions and games officiated by Siyau’s bridemaids. He had to dance to Bruno Mars and find clues hidden in ice cubes. All part of a traditional Chinese wedding celebration. Luckily Roger was able to satisfy all of the bridemaids requests and meet his beautiful bride. The festivities were followed by a traditional Chinese tea ceremony.

After the tea ceremonies, Siyau went upstairs to get ready into her stunning western wedding dress. The groomsmen left to setup a first look for Roger and Siyau at the industrial SAIT campus. Siyau arrived at the campus to meet Roger who was smiling ear to ear. After their first look we travelled to the new Calgary Library for creative portraits.

When we arrived at the Calgary Lake House Wedding there was excitement in the air. All of Siyau and Roger’s guests were eagerly anticipating their beautiful wedding ceremony. The Lake House offered stunning views of Lake Bonavista and was the perfect venue to an intimate wedding celebration. There was even an outdoor hockey game being played out on the ice on the lake just outside of the Lake House. A perfect Canadian setting for a wedding celebration. Siyau and Roger exchanged beautiful vows in front of their close friends and family. Their wedding ceremony was followed by a delicious dinner with an incredible reception that included some very special speeches by family and close friends.
