Welcome and thank you for taking the time to look through my work. My passion for storytelling through bold creative photography has taken me from my hometown of Calgary, Alberta, all over the world. I love meeting passionate people, uncovering their unique qualities and documenting their story. At my high school graduation, the Head Master described me as a “gentle giant.” This is a quality I have used to develop deeper relationships with those I have the privilege of photographing. I am married to a beautiful wife, and together we have two boys. I consider myself to be one of the luckiest people on the planet. I am proud to be an ambassador for Nikon Canada, Profoto Sweden and Graphistudio Italy.

My journey to becoming an award-winning wedding and portrait photographer has been unconventional. After studying engineering and business in university and working in the renewable energy industry for several years, I found my true passion for people and photography. I started as a hobbyist and photo gear enthusiast and would often take photos for the family. Eventually, I had some friends ask me to photograph their destination wedding, and my wedding portfolio began to grow from there. In early 2016, I changed my focus from engineering to my new business venture, photography. Eventually, I resigned from my career as an engineer to work as a photographer on a full-time basis. I love being an entrepreneur and the fact that I get to work with amazing people with diverse backgrounds is a dream come true. I am fortunate to have clients who have commissioned me to photograph weddings all over the world, including Japan, Europe, Central America, The Caribbean, The United States and Canada.
