Jordyn + Mike’s Cochrane Country Wedding
December 3, 2015 | Wedding
It was a pleasure to work with Jordyn and Mike for their Cochrane Country Wedding. Remember to breathe… the TV ad by Critical Mass promoting the beauty of Alberta really rang true for thier country side wedding. Their wedding was held at a ranch about a half hour north west of Cochrane located on a beautiful piece of property overlooking the foothills filled with horses and the mountains. When I first met Jordyn and Mike, at their engagement session in Cochrane, I knew their wedding was going to be blast. Both so full of character, laughter and chiseled good looks. Jordyn and her bridesmaids got ready inside the house she grew up in while a team a family members set up the backyard for the ceremony. The morning was filled with mimosas, iphone games, make up, hairstyling and lots of laughter. One of Mike’s groomsmen serenaded the bridal party entrance to the ceremony with his violin. The ceremony was filled with laughs and tears of joy. Afterwards we headed for the pasture for some portraits with the family horses then hopped into the family motorhome and headed to a quaint farmland village five minutes down the road where the movie The Assassination of Jesse James starring Brad Pitt was filmed. The little village was only a few years old but was made to look like it was 100 years old. The magic of Hollywood. The reception was held in a massive tent back at the family ranch where friends and family members offered some touching speeches. Everyone at the wedding had an amazing time. The MC was hilarious!
Thank you so much for including me on your wedding day! I wish you both the very best in the years to come and look forward to see you again very soon.
